HOPPE (UK) brings new home grown talent into the sector

Aimee Parry

There’s new architectural ironmongery talent in the making at HOPPE (UK) following the appointment of two new apprentice at its offices in Wolverhampton.

HOPPE (UK) has welcomed two new apprentices to different areas of the business. Aimee Parry is completing her apprenticeship in business administration, working within the sales centre, and Jessica Puri has joined the ARRONE team as a graduate technical apprentice.

Aimee Parry comes to HOPPE (UK) from the Walsall Academy, Wolverhampton, and will be learning all aspects of administration as part of her Level 3 qualification. She will also be covering the key skills needed as part of a sales executive role, as well as gaining experience across key business departments.

Jessica Puri

Jessica Puri completed her product design degree from the University of Wolverhampton in 2017. She already has experience within the construction industry, previously working in design and development roles for steel fabricator Metek, and Marshalls Mono.

Both Aimee and Jessica are due to complete their apprenticeships in 2021.

Ged Ryan, CEO of HOPPE (UK), said:
“It’s important to us that we’re recruiting talent from within the local area to develop into the next generation of architectural ironmongers. This is a great industry with a long heritage here in the West Midlands, and Wolverhampton in particular.
“The apprenticeship programme at HOPPE (UK) is a great opportunity for young people to start building their networks and to gain valuable knowledge and experience that will stay with them throughout their career.”
