ProMate® launched in the UK

Guthrie Douglas Ltd and SWS UK are the only two suppliers in the UK with a license to sell the new ProMate® . This plug and play solution for connecting a single phase mains supply to a tubular motor gives fitters additional safety, speed of installation and enhanced fault finding and efficiency.

Supplied with an IEC mains lead ProMate® simplifies wiring to either the mains supply or battery backup. Touch safe voltages for the control circuits enable fitters who are not qualified electricians to safely install and commission single phase roller shutters.

ProMate® has colour-coded, easy to follow connections, a dynamic user interface and in-built electrical test/multi meter functionality giving easily recognisable and clear feedback for the fitter; resulting in a safer working environment and reduced installation, repair and maintenance time.

ProMate® is ideally suited for fitters working on all applications that require single phase tubular motors, such as commercial shop fronts. We have already seen major retailers also choosing to retrofit ProMate® to keep up with current health and safety requirements.

Features of the ProMate® include:

• Stylish and simplistic design
• Generous wiring space
• Colour coded connectors
• Standby power requirement less than .05 watt
• Dedicated user interface
• Various operating modes set by dil switch
• Plug and play battery back-up available
• Anti-stall – preventing the motor running if the shutter is still locked down.
