Laidlaw Interiors Group (LIG) has revamped its Bonhill Street showroom in Clerkenwell, showcasing products from across its Komfort, Leaderflush Shapland, Laidlaw and Fitzpatrick divisions. The 5500 sq ft facility is now one of the largest interior showrooms in London, offering architects and contractors design inspiration and technical information.
Komfort, the designer and manufacturer of commercial partitioning, doors, movable walls and storage wall, is displaying its latest products, which are on trend to the London interiors market. Offering 13 partitions in its range, the company's systems also achieve outstanding fire, acoustic and structural performance through stringent testing.
Laidlaw has been supplying hardware for over a century and has come to be known as the leading supplier of technical information for architectural ironmongery, handrailing, balustrading and access-control. Laidlaw offers a variety of services, such as its Declaration of Performance (DoP), which provides direct access to the supporting DoP documents, which declare that qualifying ironmongery products meet the certification criteria. The company will be displaying its Orbis and Centurion ironmongery ranges alongside its handrails and balustrades offerings from its dedicated Balustrading Solution division at the showroom.
The UK’s leading door manufacturer, Leaderflush Shapland, which produces a variety of doorset solutions engineered with important performance characteristics such as fire resistance, radiation shielding and acoustic rating, is showcasing a variety of its popular doorset solutions, including its very latest selection of environmental veneers manufactured using banana and bamboo plants – these have been used to create individual pods throughout the showroom.
Leaderflush Shapland has installed three sector pods in the showroom, showcasing its work in the health, education and commercial sectors. Each sector pod holds three doorsets – including veneered, laminated and painted doorsets. They showcase the latest solutions and finishes in these sectors, together with Laidlaw ironmongery, highlighting the Spectrum offer of integrated doorsets.
Also showcasing its products is Fitzpatrick - the designer, manufacturer and installer of heavy-duty external and internal metal doorsets for the industrial building and commercial sectors.

“We’ve really taken the time to create a ‘working’ showroom that will help decision makers visualise the ways in which these complementary systems can be used. Combining 130 years of specialist expertise, all LIG divisions have been involved, helping to create a space like no other – the showroom is not only inspiring but also helps provide the reassurance that we can deliver on a technical front too.”
The showroom is open Monday to Friday from 8:30am until 5pm. To arrange a viewing, contact Agnese Caune, Showroom Manager, on 0207 2565701 or email london.showsuite@komfort.com.
